Alright guys, so I got my GCMS notes today. Everything looks fine, under eligibility, C.A wrote recommend passed, just waiting for V.O to review. Under the notes section, it says "appears to meet requirements". Unfortunately, no V.O has looked at my case yet.

so are you under second review? why if is everything is ok you need a review?

My case is in queue for review by an officer, I am not sure if that is second review or not. My understanding is all cases will go to CA(case analyst) first, they take the first look and give recommendations, then cases will be transferred to visa officers, they take the second look and make final decisions.

Does anybody know how to verify if the offices received the police background checks from my home country?

Im from Mexico, we send the fingerprints to the embassy of canda in mexico, and as far as i know they will send the resoults to Ottawa, but i dont know how to verify if this part of the process has been done.

I received my GCMS notes and there is nothing in that which should suggest a possible delay-

Eligibility : recommended pass ( appears to meet the requirements)
Medical : Passed
Security : In progress
Crminality : In progress

Lets hope this queue will start to move now.

Hi Chalin, I have the same question, how to verify if CEC Ottawa has received the Police Check from Mexico? So please, any help will be greatly appreciated.

To provide more context, I submitted all required paperwork to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico on March 30th and got no reply whatsoever. Also, my 60 day due date for delivering the Police Check to CEC Ottawa expired while waiting for Mexico. 1 week before it expired I sent an extension request to Ottawa (1 month ago) and again, no reply at all. At this point I do not know if the Mexican Police check has been completed/sent nor if I have been granted with an extension from Ottawa ... HELP please!!!

I received my notes on Friday and it says RPRF outstanding. Security not started and criminality in progress. Applied June 27th, MR feb 20th, nothing since 2nd line mid March. Is this normal? I've not paid my RPRF upfront, and not received an email to pay yet, just wondering if the 'outstanding' is the default comment? Doesn't mention that they've asked for it yet anywhere in the notes.

we all have almost same notes.....I am worry becasue CIC is not looking at June applicants at all......after july, now August applicants are get their MR ......

Seem like a good idea. Please send an email stating that June applications have been overlooked and none of the applications (if possible mentioned the dates June 2nd to 26ht) didn’t go through further process. If you don't want to disclose your details like application# etc., then that is fine. This way, at least he can address (or enquire) the issue with CIC. I would advise send as many of you as you can.

Somehow our applications were missed out in the first pass. No guarantee that this will not repeat next time, where each individual has to reach out to our respective MPs for help.
