Hi guys!

Got some good news here. Someone from January 2013 batch, Manila VO got his passport request today.
Despite of the worldwide strike, they are still working on our applications.
I hope the situation improves for all of us.

So june batch have 5 more months to wait for ppr? Looking at the brightside, we still have our chance to celebrate christmas in our respective countries. "Waiting seems so long specially when your waiting, the only way to make it faster is to be busy, next thing youll know, you got your visa ;D goodluck to us.

Yeah i believe you are right, about the initial assessment because on the official checklist, where it says office use only, all items were checked off by them, except the form with the missing signature.

I am really sorry Josh. My application has been returned too (when I first submitted it in May), so I know how you feel. We forgot to sign one page as well. We didn't panic tho, we completed everything and resent it.
It's up to you if you wanna stay under this thread or create a July one. I wish you the best of luck!

Sooo excited here!!

This morning I received my first official correspondance from CIC; it was the confirmation that they received my file, and they included my client and file number. Eventhough I was not (and still not able to login), I was very happy. It was not the end of it... In the late afternoon I received another email stipulating that I have been accepted as a sponsor for my husband!!!! The letter also indicated that they have already sent my request to the Mexico visa office.

Now I have to send this last letter with other documents to the MICC, as I am a Quebec resident.

To shadowpetit: I cant reply to your message privately so I will answer here. The form that my spouse forgot to sign was form iMM5490 spouse questionaire. At the very last page the signature box is grayed out, so we automatically assumed that part didnt need to be filled out, because on all the other forms, everywhere that you need to sign is not in a gray box.

you need at least 10 posts on the forum, and then you can update your profile, add a nice flag if you wish etc.

If you want I can create the spreadsheet for July ( same model as I did for June), and explain how to add applicants etc.
Just create a new thread with July, and in the meantime I'll create the spreadsheet for July, and you can add people when they come in...
