I mailed my application June 12, 2013 and to this day I have not received a single confirmation or letter whatsoever. I tried to call CIC but its always "high call volume"

I can see from your posts that by now I should have received something from CIC. I was wondering if you guys received confirmation by e-mail or is there somewhere online I should be looking at to see my status. Should I be worried now?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to us!

I probably don't really belong here - my application was delivered on July 11, 2013. But since there is no July thread yet, I decided to hang out with you for a while. I have not received a confirmation letter yet, and there is nothing on Ecas.

By the way, when you check application status with Ecas, do you use your official receipt number from when you made a payment or your client ID number from other immigration documents (for example, confirmation of permanent residence)?

Looking at the trend, CIC-Sydney is opening and creating files within 70-85 days from the receipt of your application. So check between September 4th week to October 2nd week and you should see the update.

To check the status use any i.e. Permanent Resident Card number or Client ID XXXX-XXXX
