More than a year now since application date to test. Currently, al files go to 'in process' stage within 2-3 months of application date, but the meaning of in process has changed also. It doesn't mean much now.

haven t recieved LAR (letter acknowledging receipt)! my office is Edmonton! any comments guys!

I just received the AOR in the mail. I am in Toronto. Application sent June 19th, received June 24th and processing started September 13th.

I sent in my application on June 6 and it was received on June 11.

Here is the ECAS update:

We started processing your application on August 28, 2013.

Besides those updates, there hasn't been any letters or online updates on my profile as of yet. Does anybody know what's the average wait time between the time when they start processing the application to the time when the file is transferred to a local office?

I just called CIC:

my file was transferred to the local office in mississauga on nov 21, and i got a latter for finger print

OMG!!! I got a request to write the test!!! I don't understand why I have to go to Mississauga though... but I am happy with the speedy response.
