It is really your choice, finally at the end you need to send them both. Just an info for you:
VFS is very fast, I applied last month end and got back my passport with PCC on 4th day, I was very much surprised!!!! BTW, I didn't mail it, I went to VFS and picked up my passport

Thanks for your response ! I had been to VFS last month end too...and the lady at the counter told me that it will take 4-6 weeks to get the PPs back with the clerarance..! I could not surrender the PPs as I am travelling ...well..I will just have to wait till I come back for the PC..hopefully it will not take too long.

If I do send my FBI clearance now...should i just put my client id number and date the app was recd at sydney..as I dont have a file number?

If I were you I would send both the PCCs together, Though you send FBI clearance still your application is missing document, I don't really see a point in sending FBI clearance with out Indian PCC, it really depends on the date that FBI clearance was issued, if it is fairly recent, then you could send them both or send your FBI clearance now

add all the info name, surname, DOB, passport number, client ID, application sent date along a letter explaining that you will submit your Indian PCC once you obtain it

I can send both the clearances in August 2012? But in August, I dont know if my file will be in Sydney or Ottawa...Is there a way to confirm where my file is before i send out the documents?

Hopefully your file will be in Ottawa by then and you will have a unique I.D and office of contact to send your PCC.

Hope I get the AOR soon.. I didnt specify CPP Ottawa as visa office and instead mentioned new delhi..
So either CPP Otawa or the nationality of your country.. logically its correct and they had accepted mine. But I can confirm you once I receive my AOR...Cheers for those CC charged who applied during June...

Congrats pksr for cc getting charged..unfortunately I dont have time now to surrender my passports..am travelling next week..so hopefully the process will be fast in aug as well...I also had mentioned Buffalo as my VO as I had mailed out my app before the official closure was announced...so i guess that automatically becomes CPP -O now. Hope we get the AORs soon !

Yosemite, don't worry about PCC too much, CIC will ask for it even if u don't send it for a while, you will receive AOR first, then u can send it
Check April 2012 applicants-kammar didn't send PCC and yesterday he received AOR, have a wonderful trip

My application package reached Sidney on 7th June... credit card not charged till now...
really wonder how long it will take...

Well, with the current trend of CC charge after about 2.5 - 3 weeks of application receipt, I would expect to have mine cashed by Friday! The process is honestly more fun when updates are shared.
