wonder why it is taking so long to charge the card...have seen some payments being charged in 7 days in earlier months..my app reached on June 1...CC not charged yet..

I know it's strange, guess CIC might have been flooded with more applications than usual, as people with 2+ years of experience are rushing to send their application before CIC announces the 1 year rule, just guessing

every time they change the rules they get a flood of applications which set the whole system back and causes delays.
I lived in the US for 5 years and they never changed the rules. Canada changes them every couple of months.

Hope it doesn't lead to that FSW backlog which led to return 300000 applications in march 2012, originally applicants were 2008, it took 4 years for them to send back the application.

My application package reached Sidney on 7th June... credit card not charged till now...
really wonder how long it will take...

Mine reached 8th June... credit card not charged till now...
It takes 3 months to get AOR and 1 month to get charged in CC.
Lets wait for another 2 weeks...Hope CEC processes fast..
