I've noticed that most people are receiving PPR via email... has anyone experienced having received a call for PPR?

My wife and I both received calls from a Canada number that we both missed and she says that it might be the VO trying to contact us.

I hope it's nothing bad :-X.

No updates???? Its soo quiet in here....

Anyways hope I can break that silence here...

PPR!!!!!! Feb 15th my hubby got a call from his Visa officer to bring his passport in and within two weeks he will get it back with visa!!

I'm soooo happy we're finally at the end!!

Congrats! Our app. is being processed through Kingston VO as well. I assume this is the only VO that calls?

After reading so many posts, I have a sneaking suspicion that we are among the last to get PPR ;D.

Posting our e-CAS.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 21, 2012.

We started processing your application on January 30, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

It's been a lengthy process that is has frustrated both my wife and I but I can say we are finally beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

PR soon! Yayyyy ;D!

After going through this whole process, and in fact still going through it, I've realized that it is better to send in the RPRF the same time that you submitted the app. as it seems that if you don't it slows down the process more.

Having them have to come back to you and ask you for this fee is putting extra work on the VO and the CPC so yea, for anyone who is just submitting, go ahead and send in the RPRF right away if possible.

Noticed that some VO's take longer than other's, are there anymore Kingston VO applicants out there?

My application is now done... Timeline is/was as follows

Visa Office : London
*visa exempt, no interview required, medical extension not granted
Medicals completed : May 16th 2012
App filed : June 26th 2012
Sponsorship approved : October 26th 2012
In Process : January 24th 2013
Decision Made/COPR : March 12th 2013
Landing : In the next few weeks

Hi everyone,
I am new to this thread but I also applied for my husband via outland (Mexico) to come back to Canada.
His application was recieved on June 15th 2012 in Vergerville.
His application is now being processed from the Embassy in Mexico- January 14 2013.
Not sure what comes next. Can anyone shed some light that might be in a similar
situation??

Dont worry I'm still left from June applicants too!

My ecas:

We received your application for permanent residence on June 21, 2012.

We started processing your application on November 7, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

February 4 I got a letter to send in 2 immigration photos, pay RPR fee and removal order fee.

I sent in the receipts on feb 15.

Still no word from the visa office! Anyone have any idea when they would ask me for the passport?
