I received letter on Dec 15th 2012 requesting for more documents and pics to be submitted by 01/27/2013 from ND Embassy.I sent the package and they received on 25th of Dec 2012.My status still shows Application Received....

Wonder if they open the envelope and work on my file only after the given due date expires or also will they work before the due date ...Comments welcome from those who sent documents to ND office...

There are people with COPR whose ecas still shows 'application received'

Thanks, just dropped my PP off today at London VO. They said it might be ready in a week but no more than two. I will go back next Thursday and check. If you post it in or use the drop box it will take 6 weeks!!

Wife's COPR and Passport with IM-1 Visa inside just showed up at my door today! Yup, even though we applied through Beijing and her residential address and Chinese address labels they had requested all pointed to her China address they actually DHLed the package to my Canada address.

No big deal as I'll just take it with me when I visit her there during CNY and we can both come back together.

Overall very happy with the whole process, even if it had a lot of anxious moments. At the end, CIC processed the case whit in their estimated time.

I just send mine today let's hope for the fast response from them most specially that my medical is going to expire on January 31, 2013

On my Ecas it only says decision made on sponsor, and is still application received for the applicant. no medical result received at all.. am i supposed to be seeing that on Ecas as well? The address showing is both the sponsor's address and it hasnt been changed till now. Will this means mine hasnt been touched by the VO at all?

Not necessarily. You can't trust ECAS. They don't always update it. Just like when they make the decsion for stage 1, sometimes it's updated after the decision has been made. Hang in there!

Thanks Lunas.. I didnt expect this will take this long.. Submission was since June and approval was August.. and not hearing anything yet till now.. So frustrating...

Hey guys! I'm also a June applicant (New Delhi VO). A quick question, how long does your respective VO keep the PP before they issue the visa?

New Delhi seems to be taking their own sweet time...

They finally started working on my application on January 9th! My medical expired, so they requested I re-do them. In the e-mail they sent, they stated "New Medical Report forms will be sent to you under separate cover", which if I'm understanding correctly, means they are physically mailing me the forms. Should I wait for these new forms, or should I go ahead and print off the forms that are offered on the CIC website?

HI every one, it has been a long time since i have been in the forum. Finaly after the VO in Rome has requested for more documents on October 14th, i got an e-mail on 14 january they requested my passport for issuing the visa. i have to enter in Canda before 5/5/2013 day when my medical checks expire. I hope my doughters get the Canadian temporary passaprt till then and finally we will be together as a family.

This is good news. I'm sorry I don't know about the medicals but it sounds that they will send you the forms.
