Thanks, just dropped my PP off today at London VO. They said it might be ready in a week but no more than two. I will go back next Thursday and check. If you post it in or use the drop box it will take 6 weeks!!
Congrats to those getting PPR and COPR lately and good luck to those still waiting.

Hello, did you pick up your passport, also was it issued with COPR? How was the process? Congrats!

If anyone has had an interview and wouldn't mind filling out this survey :) I am trying to see if what I heard is correct. What I heard is that if your status changes to in-process before you are asked for an interview, you probably won't have an interview. The more people that fill this out, the more well rounded the results will be. :)

Once I have a larger number of responses, I'll post a nice little post with the results thus far.

Good luck to all of us in this immigration process!!

Comments Welcome:

Inquiry Sent to ND : December 5th 2012

Received Email From ND: Feb 9th 2013 as below.... (i.e on Saturday Afternoon)

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

This Family Class application was received by our office after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status. For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in New Delhi for the last 12 months, please consult the following website: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/processing_times-durees_traitement.aspx?view=d

BUT I RECEIVED A LETTER DATED DECEMBER 15TH 2012 FOR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS AND PICS AND WHICH I FORWARDED ON DECEMBER 25TH 2012.BUT TO MY SURPRISE TO READ IN EMAIL REPLY FROM NEW DELHI WHICH STATES THE APPLICATION IS CURRENTLY PENDING INITIAL REVIEW.NOT SURE WHAT THEY DID IN DECEMBER WHEN THEY REQUESTED MORE DOCUMENTS...COMMENTS ARE WELCOME..THANKS

Tried to checked status on eCAS and its still not working...

Just found this June thread so look on my timeline. My ecas hasn't changed to in-process or interview required. It's the same as before "Application received and received medicals". They told me I'm on the interview queue, since October but no date yet. this is stressful on a marriage .

Please update the spreadsheet..Status has changed to InProcess and they started processing on February 15th 2013..

When can I expect it goes into DM.Comments are welcome from the members whose files went from InProces to Decision Made in the last 1-2 weeks.......Good luck to every one...
