Hi I will have my medical exam on tuesday 26th of june I'm so confused right now coz we have representative who assist us for our application.. We try to called her but unfortunately she was on vacation..I have A dependant child who is not coming with me when I get there to canada should I need to take her also for medical even though the medical is only valid for a year she will be coming to canada when she's already 13 years old right now she is only 8 years old....hope somebody can help me..thank you

Your dependent child will also need a medical even though they will not be accompanying you. If you don't get your child a medical you will have to agree not to ever sponsor your child to live with you in the future.

your option c is for your 2011 taxation year I am assuming and in 2011 you must have been single if married in 2012 so it will not be a problem and as long as you do not collect child tax benefits you can just report your marital status on your 2012 tax return...hope this helps.

Yes, that was from my 2011 assessment and i dont have any child yet. One thing worries me now is, i mailed my application last wednesday june 20, 2012. Thru canada post and have it xpresspost. So ill be expectingit will arrive at mississauga the next day thursday or friday the most june 22. But till now every time i tracked it, it only says there 8:45am june 22 OUT FOR DELIVERY. I dont know what the hell canada post did to my package, it freaks me out now, and stresses me a lot.I hope they didnt lost may application at all..

My option C had the same. It only reflects your status for the year before. The marriage certificate is proof that you are married. Not everybody changes their marital status right away. All should be fine.

When you check today with the tracking number today and it says the same....call Canada Post right away and put a trace on it......that is your only proof that CIC has your file until such time as you get an AOR or approval.......don't delay.....
