The email confirming our sponsorship approval contains a UCI no. & a file no. Can this email be considered as an AOR? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but I have a reputation to keep here

Your "Acknowledgement of Receipt aka. AOR" will come when your application reaches your Visa Office. Your app is sent there just after sponsorship approval.shamsia said:The email confirming our sponsorship approval contains a UCI no. & a file no. Can this email be considered as an AOR? Yeah! Congrats!gost said:Just got an email - my e-cas tracker is showing ;D ... FINALLY!!! I logged in to my husbands (sponsor) e-cas and it says that our application was received on June 30 and that decision was made August 30 and they have sent him a letter the same day. Does that usually means approved???

Yes that's what I mean to say. The file no. is F********. Ok peeps, it really starts with an Fddobro2 said:The UCI on the sponsorship approval letter, since that's addressed to the sponsor, is just the sponsor's Client ID. That's CIC's ID it assigns you for whatever dealings it has with you. I'm not sure about the file number. The most important file number is the one communicated to you by the VO (it will begin with an F and/or a B). If you get a communication from CPC-M or an e-CAS update, as e-CAS is not really reliable for outland applications, it wouldn't be an AOR. The AOR is a mailed or emailed message from the VO, and like I mentioned it'll include the file number as well as a UCI (this time, the Client ID for the primary applicant).
oh...hangman, I love this game! ok I pick a letter Eshamsia said:Yes that's what I mean to say. The file no. is F********. Ok peeps, it really starts with an F
