I know its different for everyone, but whats your experience for getting the sponsor email or added to ecas? is it more in the morning/afternoon or night time? thanks

My application reached mississauga on june 7. Yesterday, I received an automated email confirming that my application is received by CIC on 7/6/2011. And also in the email UCI and application # is mentioned. Is there anyone, who received such an email.

Do they send email or letter to inform us about the decision?

Hey... sounds positive... Did it say anything about decision made? They can send either a letter or an email. In my case it was a letter

This looks quite unusual but seems it is a positive sign

Although, from what I've heard/read, you normally would only receive an email about the decision... I think an email regarding confirmation of receipt is pretty unusual...

Same here, I found it unusual, so tried to find in the forums to see is there anyone else who received this kind of email. Yesterday in the afternoon, I called call center to inquiry about the status that time the representation had to search it through my name and dob as I wasn't having client i.d. And in the evening, I received this email. I also got the application file number starting with F. On ecas, nothing is showing. But call center automated status inquiry confirms the application received on 7/6/11. Hope its positive.

It feels like June is getting nowhere. =/ Now at 44 days of waiting =/

I know it's easy for me to say but keep positive! I'm not sure why CPC-M has slowed down this month but hopefully we will see some movement next week!
