Applied for Canada Tourist Visa renewal for my mother and aunt here in the Philippines. They both have US tourist visas. Applications status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Timeline
Application Submitted on: July 15, 2024
Biometric Instruction Letter: July 15, 2024
Biometric given: August 6, 2024 at VFS Manila
Biometric Updated at IRCC: Same day when they gave biometrics on August 6, 2024

Hi, my relative sent in online app on August 08, 2014. Got the Biometrics Instruction Letter the same day as well and gave biometrics on the 12th of August. Do you have any update? Website says 27 days of processing after biometrics but I see some people get approval after only 10-18 days.

That is quick, Congratulations.
2 Weeks for the visitor visa is a great timeline. Was it on the GC key or IRCC portal?

Yeah we were quite surprised, I guess the CAN+ eligibility fast-tracked this. Still had our doubts since he fits the stereotypical 'no-strong-ties-to-home-country' category.
Applied on the IRCC portal.

Good day, friends,

I applied for a visitor visa for my wife after receiving her AOR from the sponsorship application on June 27th. She completed her biometrics on July 4th. According to Canada.ca, the processing time from my home country is 35 days, and it is mentioned that processing times for spouses are even faster.

Since it has now been almost 44 days (33 business days), do you have any recommendations or advice on how I might follow up on her application? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Applied in Canada for my wife who is in India
I had applied PR for my wife on May 14th and received the AOR in 20 Days.
July 1 received the Biometric
July 10 received the medical
Both submitted and approved.

I applied for her visitor visa after receiving her AOR from the sponsorship application on July 17th. biometrics and medical approved. According to Canada.ca, the processing time from my home country is 30 days for spouse TRV

waiting for update...

Hello buddies
I have one question when we apply visitor visa for spouse after receiving aor in spousal sponsorship application, how to prove to the officer that spouse will leave canada after her visit or we don’t have to prove this to officer!
