This has nothing to do with digitization. They are actively trying to slow down the process thats all. Why do you think CEC applicants are processed in under 4 months?
Well look at the processing times for one, they have upped it to 34months. Secondly the evidence is the cut in PR numbers. They need to balance total PR numbers with all programs Sponsorship, Economic Class, H&C etc. We are not a priority since we are Inland and already have work permits (at least most of us). Secondly look at how Family class was processed last year vs this year. Most received ecopr within 12months...and for this year a lot of applicants are on the 12th month and haven't even received P1.
Holy cow, I didn't know they upped it to 34 months. 12 months seems reasonable all of the sudden 
We have sent my wife's application in early July last year and received P1 on 19 of June, so just little over 11 months for us. Hopefully this will be all over soon.
As for the 34 month wait, maybe it's the way close down the flood gates a little that Trudeau opened.
Which is kinda good cause there is lots of people here nowadays who have no business being in Canada IMO

why did they ask for it again? Had you got your eligibility approved? or re-assessed?
principal applicant and sponsor eligibility are both approved they didn’t mention something about re assessment.

I checked my GCKey today and it said, “Final decision: July 2, 2025 Your application is in progress and we will send you a message once the final decision has been made.” What’s next?
