Hi All, a newbie in this forum!

Anybody else in this group awaiting new updates since September 11? I have noticed a lot of applications with July and August 2024 AOR being slowed down recently. While they might be processing them case by case but I am noticing trends where July 2024 applicants are finally receiving some updates in the last month end and gradually into December. I hope this to be true and the applicants get to see new updates soon

Below is the timeline of my application
Application Date - July 26, 2024
AOR date - August 6
Test Date - September 6
Background and Test Completed - September 11
LPP - In Progress since September 11

Yes, pretty much the same timelines as yours. Scarborough office. Have heard nothing after September 11.

Yup. Test taken on Sep 7. Test Completion on tracker marked as Sep 9. Last Updated on Sep 11. LPP in progress since then. Scarborough office.

Hi,
Does anyone know if a the so-called ghost update will be systematically triggered (or can possibly occur) due to something happening on GCMS notes process side of things when these have been requested (like for instance when the officer pulls up information from the system, or maybe by the mere fact it accesses it, in order to put together your notes on GCMS report that will be issued to you next)?
Or are the two things (update on the application and preparation of GCMS notes) completely independent one another?

All complete on tracker on Nov 29,2024 other than Oath Ceremony.

Only way to know for sure is by calling IRCC and asking them. Test office may be different than processing office. My test was conducted by Niagara Falls, but processing office is Vancouver.
1-888-242-2100 there will be very long voice prompts on the options
The prompt selection is 3,4,0.

You must have received the TEST letter, there is an email under that. if you search that email here in the forum you will get to know

Hi All,
I had provided my fingerprints on Oct 18 and RCMP has confirmed that they sent the fingerprints to the Vancouver office on Oct 24. But, as of today the fingerprints status has not been updated in the tracker and Background and Prohibitions are still pending. I know someone in this group mentioned it usually takes 3-4 weeks to get updated and I am already past that.
Is there anything else I should be doing here or is it just a waiting game now ?

No, I didn't contact them. Do you think that is needed ? Like should we be sending a web form or call them directly ?

Yeah but in my case, RCMP sent it on 24th October which is way before the strike started. So, that shouldnt have an affect. But, can't say at this point. Maybe I can call IRCC and see if they have any additional information
