Received fingerprint request e-mail today November 13th from Vancouver office (we live in Toronto). In the attachment it mentions:
"After reviewing the biographical information on your application form, there are questions in your case
with regard to sections 21 and/or 22 of the Citizenship Act, explained further on the second page of
this letter."
Is this normal?

Yes, it's very normal. The mention of sections 21 and/or 22 may seem intimidating, but it's included in every fingerprint request letter. If you're a law-abiding citizen, there’s no need to be concerned about it.

It is the standard text of the fingerprints request, so pretty normal. And most FP requests are sent from Vancouver, irrespective of your location or local processing office.

did anyone submit fingerprints in Toronto in an accredited agency? how did the process go, and how quickly did ircc receive the results? were you given the results as well? how did you find out when rcmp received the results and when immigration received them?

My next endeavour is to get PR for myself. I am here on Super Visa. Any suggestions about that. Is there a group that could be helpful?

Unfortunately, the only avenue that I am aware of is the Parents and Grandparents PR pathway, which is a game of luck. Not sure when they will open it up for new applications as they are still doing the lottery with applications submitted in 2020. I hope they open up soon and you get picked in the lottery.

Hi Everyone

Me and wife took the citizenship test recently. Mine was updated to complete in 2 days after taking test. But wife took it on Nov 9 and still the tracker shows as citizenship test in progress. Our test window ends on Nov 16, is it a case of concern if the status is not updated before that ?

Wife took the test & failed for the first time , the same day (within an hour) she took the second attempt and passed. Is this why her status is not being updated till now?

I got my fingerprints done today. It was very fast and the officer was super nice. She said the RCMP should have them within the hour of sending. So we shall see. I haven't received any emails or updates saying the RCMP or the Vancouver office has received them. Will I see such an email in the next few days? Thanks!

Hi, It usually takes a week for the it to be updated. Each applicant's test is evaluated individually. If you have the email where your temporary results are sent, you should be good. It is the email that come right after the test. Also, this week had a holiday. Her results should be updated by Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Hi, It usually takes a week for the it to be updated. Each applicant's test is evaluated individually. If you have the email where your temporary results are sent, you should be good. It is the email that come right after the test. Also, this week had a holiday. Her results should be updated by Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Hi thanks for the reply . But our test window is expiring this Sunday , so is it fine if we get the update after that ? Or will it be a problem
