Hello everyone,

Now I'm trying to apply for my spouse with email id. But I'm constantly getting this error " our system is down. Try again later"
Can someone please guide me.
FYI, it's a different email id from mine and it was used earlier to make other visa applications.

Try resetting the password with that email and see if that works.

Got email for oath ceremony on Oct 31. Tracker is still not updated, but at this point it's just a formality i guess... my only question is, does the email with instructions to get the e-certificate come after the ceremony or do I expect it before?

Depends on the officer, some send it before the ceremony and some right after the ceremony. Is your ceremony virtual?

i am worried that I haven’t received any update on my application. I submitted on July 18, 2024. The last update I received is my AOR on July 29. I tried to call IRCC but the line was cut off. Is this delay normal?
Citizenship test status has been updated to Completed on October 11 2024. LPP still in progress status.
Can someone tell me how I will update the spreadsheet? Thank you.

Hello @hssrp

I applied for my citizenship on July 3rd 2024.
My office is Sydney, Nova Scotia.

My application was received on July 12th. I got a notification regarding a gap in my passport for the relevant period (the entire five years before the application date). So I handed in the additional documents right away (July 13th). My citizenship tracker still says "additional documents" needed so I send in an inquiry by filling out a webform. I was told that there was some technical issue on the tracker which is why it still has the notification asking me for additional documents.

I then got an update on August 30th about my background verification being complete.

Then the Citizenship test status had been updated to in progress on Sept 3rd. I could take the test from September 10th to October 10th.
I took it on October 3rd and passed. My citizenship test was marked complete on Oct 5th.

As of right now I am just waiting for LPP as it "in progress".

I am just wondering if the additional documents is going to cause me any trouble because it still says "additional documents" needed on my tracker. I was told my application would get rejected in 60 days if I don't submit those documents but I have. It has been way over 60 days and I was asked to take the test so I don't think my application have moved this far if they hadn't received my additional documents for the relevant period.
