I don't have your info in the spreadsheet so don't know your exact timeline or which office sent you the FP request but generally, IRCC doesn't notify anyone about the FP receipt.@hssrp can you plz let me know the above query?
Thanks for the info. Mine is IRCC Montreal location, in excel FP received date was mentioned that's why I asked how to find that.I don't have your info in the spreadsheet so don't know your exact timeline or which office sent you the FP request but generally, IRCC doesn't notify anyone about the FP receipt.
If IRCC Vancouver sent the FP request, then they would update the tracker as FP received in about 4-5 weeks from the day you gave the fingerprints. If IRCC Sydney sent the request, they generally do not update the tracker with FP request or received. They update the Background as completed the next day of receiving your clear FP report (provided your security screening is already completed). They take about 2-3 weeks to update the BG after you give the prints.
Alternatively, you can also call IRCC help desk to know if they received your prints if its been a while since you did the prints. Hope this helps!
updatedTest marked as completed Oct 10.
if it's scheduled you don't even need an email. All you need is id number and application number.Update!

I still haven't gotten an email regarding the test. Is this normal?
During the fingerprinting process, will the background and other stages progress independently of the process, or will the others be taken into consideration after the fingerprinting process is completed?I don't have your info in the spreadsheet so don't know your exact timeline or which office sent you the FP request but generally, IRCC doesn't notify anyone about the FP receipt.

Background will not progress until FP is completed. Rest can be started and completed depending upon officers.During the fingerprinting process, will the background and other stages progress independently of the process, or will the others be taken into consideration after the fingerprinting process is completed?
