Hi @pnsuresh , Any prior Canada/US visa ?

Any why medicals for visitor visa needed ?

I applied visit visa to attend conference on april 5 conference was in. However my sibling is living in canada i mentioned her in application that i am also going to meet her and her family. I havnt heard from ircc yet. Though should I keep my application on and wait or should withdraw and reapply?

It generally happens in a day or two. You can contact VFS center to see if they have passed on the details to IRCC.

I had contacted VFS a couple of days back and they had mentioned that the biometric information captured from the applicants is sent to IRCC in real-time.

I saw the biometric details updated in the profile yesterday. It took around 14 days to get it updated ... probably some operational issues I suppose but all is good now.

Any why medicals for visitor visa needed ?

As far as I know, for the visitor visa medicals are not required. However if you are in Canada on Visit visa and want to extend your stay beyond 6 months. Then medicals are required.

Submitting more stronger documentation and explaining the purpose in details. I did not submit CA report in my first one.

I am also going to apply for my parents. But they don't have any travel history so we are worried.

If you can kindly describe in details about how you made the documentation more stronger it will be very helpful for me Also if you can share what documents have you shown to strengthening the home ties pls ? Thanks ^_^

Hi all, after a full month of waiting, finally got my PPR.

Online Application: 6th July
IRCC Received: 7th July

No email no notifications
Eligibility Review: 21nd July

Got email today from cic
PPR: 5th Aug

Send passport today to ottawa via CP Xpress
