Hi can anyone help me here plz I applied parents visitor visa on 24 feb but no response then I submit webform and today I received this email

Hi all, after a full month of waiting, finally got my PPR.

Online Application: 6th July
IRCC Received: 7th July

No email no notifications
Eligibility Review: 21nd July

Got email today from cic
PPR: 5th Aug

Send passport today to ottawa via CP Xpress

Do you mind me asking if they sent you an email when your eligibility review began? Or did it just appear in your account?

Mine started today and they didn't send any email notification.

Current status of my moms application :
Eligibility : Your application is in process. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Biometrics : She already has it (Previously application rejected in 2019)
Background : We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

What should I be looking forward to on the eligibility and background section ?
Is it normal to have this status as its been 2 weeks since we summitted the application ?

Check average processing times on IRCC website. Many people have same status even after 4-5 months so 2 weeks is not a long time.

In my case there were no status changes and all were updated the same day on the visa approval. Those status in 99% of cases mean nothing and are updated on the date of visa approval / rejection.

2 weeks is very little, what you're seeing is completely normal. All the best!

Hello all friends.

I have a question about canada visa.

If a person apply from india to canada on visit visa. ( biometric done in india)

After he went to saudi arabia.

Then 1 month later to reach Saudi arabia.

He received a letter to submit passport for canada visa.

So is he can submit passport in Saudi Arabia for visa or he must come back to india. ?

Hope to get a positive response.

Biometric Done 1st of June 2022
Till now no updates
Still Waiting
