PA is in India. It’s handled by my consultant in Brampton so he hasn’t provided me with any other update. Is there a way I can keep checking updates without bypassing his access?

Not really. You can check ecas, you can inquire of your MP, you can order your gcms notes once in a while.

But not gckey.

To be clear: mostly checking daily is useless and doesn't help. You do want to know that your rep is diligent and at least checks once in a while - but you'll have to agree with them.

Again, mostly, checking gckey does nothing - the main thing is to read and act on correspondence when you get it.

Stage you are at is quite normal and you are entering the quiet period - it might be 2-6 months before you hear more.

thanks a lot for your swift response, noted! Unfortunately, my lawyer is not really good with communication so I was trying to figure out what to do But thanks a lot for your guidance, I will keep an eye on it and try to be patient

Mine is a little different. My background check says “your application is in progress, we will send you a message when we start your background check”. It was similar to yours two days ago, but changed to this yesterday

Also my Ecas has two lines. The first one is same with yours but received July 30

the second line says “we started processing your application on Nov 10th 2021”

Note: this is ECAS for PA

sponsor have been approved and file transferred to visa office.

Hi Guys, I was just checking the status on the client application status tool, it changed from in process to decision made but there is no specific update mentioned,nor has my lawyer reached out yet. Any idea what this would mean?Is it like a ghost update and will go back to in process?
