You should call CIC if you didn't hear from them, normally they ask you to call after 3 months .did you try to check the old portal with UCI ?

I finally got a hold of CIC today and they looked for my application nothing was in there system.
The officer told me to wait 30 days because maybe they haven't gotten to it yet and if still nothing apply again either through mail or online.

What do you all think about that? Waiting 30days seems useless as its already been 6 months.
Should I just send in an online application today?

My wife passed her test on 1/22 but status is still not updated in profile when I check online status. Do I need to reach out to IRCC about this and how can I do that.. Does anyone know ?

Any idea of how long that could take? I'm at this stage. I sent UP request but got a reply that it can't be guaranteed due to Afgans refugees processing. Last week, i got another email saying if I meet the requirement I should apply for UP. Do I need again since I've passed the test Jan 18th?

I don't have a real idea... I'm preparing to wait 5-6 months for the oath ceremony because my local office is Montreal and they seem to have a backlog of people waiting for the ceremony. On the spreadsheet I'm seeing that most non-urgent requests take at least 3 months between the test and DM.

I don't have any information on urgent processing either. I'm sorry I can't help!

I would say yes, nothing will change after 30 days.
Make sure you attach explanation letter with the old receipt payment. Good luck!

In my experience, the 1st citizenship application was sent in Oct 2020, courier confirmed delivery and signature at NS, Stayed with no updates on my application for 8 months! sent them case queries multiple times (answer: we don't have visibility over your application and we can't confirm we have received it!), called and spoked multiple times (same answer) eventually after 7 months of no news, one agent from IRCC I spoke with said, I would encourage you to apply again! and that's what I did, applied again in Aug 2021!

Not sure when did you apply, you might want to apply again if it has been a while with no visibility on your application!
