Got another ghost update today. Was able to log in ok so don't think it was another glitch like yesterday. Waiting is the worst amirite

Honestly fam. Waiting isn't one of my strong suit. I got a gu yesterday also. What vo are you in?

That is what I am not able to understand, according to travel exemptions it says COPR post-March 2020 only from the US are allowed and from other countries, if you are an immediate family member, but on other hand, they say work permit holder with essential services can travel. So as I have COPR now and I fall under essential services I believe I don't need a work permit. So I believe I can travel. On top of that people with work permits need ETA for their families but as my family has COPR too do I need a separate ETA for them to travel.

Sorry to bother you but a lot of confusion as the CIC website is not much clear.

I had never been to Canada this is my first time under EEBC Tech Pilot Program

Are you in an essential service? I don't think so.

The list of essential services is available at https://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/ntnl-scrt/crtcl-nfrstrctr/esf-sfe-en.aspx

Also see the Province specific list.

If you fall in this category, you can ask your employer to send you documents that you meet the exemption, and you will have to request a travel authorisation.

If you have COPRs, you do not need ETA.

In my case my also employer didnt give any letter for PR hence to prove my employment i have provided supporting documents (pay stub , joining letter, some year salary increment letter etc).. Not sure if you have claimed any points for job offer. In this case they would expect a letter from employer.

Yup! I'm in the same situation – AOR July 13 – nothing has started. Sad to say, but it's pretty normal.
