Start Date and End Date: This public policy takes effect on September 9, 2019, and ends on September 9, 2021. The public policy applies to the following: applications that were pending on May 31, 2019; applications received between May 31, 2019 and September 9, 2021; and, applications that were pending reconsideration between May 31, 2019 and September 9, 2021.I came across an update on canada.ca website which says that
'A new, 2 year pilot program has been put in place via the temporary public policy to facilitate the immigration of certain sponsored foreign nationals under the family class or the spouse or common-law partner in Canada (SPLPC) class who would normally be excluded, per paragraph 117(9)(d) or 125(1)(d) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR).'

What do you guys think? Are they processing July 26 to Aug 13 batch files under this new program?
I don't think so? I mean, I could be wrong, but I'm one of those in the August batch that is already transferred to CPC-M, but my wife is more than eligible as a PA and me as a sponsor, so I don't think we fall into that.I came across an update on canada.ca website which says that

In the August forum, I saw this:
Application recieved August 07. Called CIC yesterday. The agent found our application on their system and she gave me a file number. She also said that they're just verifying the documents and once it's done they will send the AOR.
I think the CIC is trying something different to process application faster. So they're verifying all the documents now and when it's move to the PA visa office they will just ask for the PPR
To those who haven't got their AOR call CIC.
I tried to call this morning, but they were 'experiencing a higher than normal volume of calls', so I was not put through. Who knows what is going on with the order they've decided to process, but it's all very odd.

Hey, thanks for the response. We did contact local VFS they said it has already been sent to high commission.Same issue happened with mine. After 3 days, we followed up with the local VFS, where we took the Biometric.
They checked internally. After 2 hrs of waiting they have updated us, that its done. And fortunately, right after that moment, I can see Biometric is updated in my CIC profile. So, definitely its something done by local VFS...
Yeah it’s normal. They are just call centre and can be located across Canada.i have a question. when i called them, the representative was in montreal. is it normal?
Not yet.. my app was received on July 31st. What about you?Hi folks,
