What was the number? worried we'll miss it
Its usually a private number but they will introduce themselves.

Sometimes you get an email without any call. It happened with me.

So don't worry things will be ok. Just do not ignore any call from a private number or an email from IRCC and you should be good to go.

All the best!

congrats. i am almost same timeline passed test on feb 26 from edmonton.

Same here. Application delivered July 11, passed my test on Feb 10 in Edmonton. They told me it'd be 2-4 months to verify my border crossings for some reason, so I don't know if my application is held up or on track with everyone else. :-/

Does yours say "In Process" or "Decision Made" in ECAS? I'm still in process.

What is the email id which we get oath invitation from?

MINE SAYS DECISION MADE

Going thru this forum only, reading who all got their ceremonies scheduled, I got my own call for oath. It was from a private number and they told me the date and approximate time on aug 21st, with advise to keep an eye on email which will have all the details. Its on zoom, will take around 25 to 30 mins. They confirmed my dob, address on file and test date. I cleared my test on march 12, got dm on 13th and had never got an oath invite earlier. Super happy! Best of luck to all in same boat. Happy weekend everyone!

Hello Everyone. I have a question. I sent my application for Citizenship on Aug 5, 2020 and the application reached on Aug 7th as per the status on Canada post. However, my application was signed and dated for Aug 10, 2020. As per Canadapost, delivery standards were 5 bus days for NS from ON. Therefore, I didn't think it would reach so quick within two days. Do you think the application would be returned back because it was signed for a future date? Or does the AOR date is what it matters?
When you received AOR, did it say date of receipt as when they actually received the mail or when they generated the AOR? I really appreciate your opinion on this?
Should I send another application, so that my submission is not delayed?

After contacting IRRC telling them that I had not received the invitation although my e-cas was showing that my oath was on August 4, I finally received the invitation. It will be held on Zoom for approximately 30 minutes. I don't think there will be any in-person oath happening any time soon. I am both happy (short and convenient process) that it is held online and sad: I've been told by all my friends that the ceremony is very special. Well, at the end of the day, being granted citizenship is what counts I guess.

I have my oath for 14th Aug.
Do we need to sing National Anthem as well in addition to oath.
Please advise.

Congrats.
You just need to repeat the oath after the presiding judge in English and French.
Don't worry the officials are patient and very helpful.
Al the best.
