It was very smooth. Login to the Zoom link, introductions followed by id verification, speech by the presiding officer, administration of oath, cutting the PR card and signing of the affirmation form. It was over in about 30 minutes.

After several emails back and forth I finally got my invite for the online zoom oath!

After a week of back and forth with IRCC, they finally believe that I did not get an email for the invite and they have contacted Calgary office to "re-issue" the invite. Not sure how long they will take or if the oath is in-person or virtual.

P.S. who don't know my situation, my ecas was updated on June 18th with invitation to appear for Oath of the 13th of July but I never actually got an email/phone call/physical mail informing me of it.

I got an update on my eCAS " We sent you a notice on July 6, 2020 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on July 16, 2020 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us. " So far I have not received any email or call from them! I am not sure if this ceremony will be in person or virtual!
