Her husband is from country that doesn't need a TRV, I believe only an eTA is required. Still, what you are suggesting is breaking the law, whether you agree with it or not. If her husband gets caught, he would be facing a huge and unnecessary problem.

My husband is actually from Nicaragua and needs a travel visa, we made the demand after wedding in order for him to be able to visit me. I also think as Juliana and we prefer to stay out of problems.

Hey there! My partner is from Argentina and we have applied outland. We are being processed in the Mexico VO as well. We are considering applying for a TRV for him so he can come to my university graduation and stay for a month or two in the summer. Did you two successfully apply for, and receive a TRV while your application was already in process?? If so, I would love to hear about your experience, as it is notoriously difficult to achieve this while an application is in process, so all tips and insights are appreciated! Cheers!

Hopefully you will hear something soon.. We had BGIP recently and a phone call from consulate to confirm that we did the medical (which we did on the 12th), but after that nothing.. They haven't even asked for a new police check.. I worry that the medical results are holding everything up..

Oh so you havent got the result of your medical yet , if its passed ? For me everything is done. Everything submitted. Meds passed since September. Hopefully i hear something mid Feb.

No, not yet.. in Cuba the medical results are not sent electronic ..so it is very slow.. Oh wow!!! you should hear something soon then!! Is your background check in progress?

Ohhh i see. Hopefully you hear ver soon too, yes it changed Jan 21 or 22 this month.

That sucks. Mine were sent electronically on Friday last week and on Monday it showed I had passed it.
