I just got an email, because I put in an enquiry asking about my application. They said it was returned with a letter of explanation. I have no idea why, because I followed everything to a T. Organized it all so well... but I'm wondering, do I need to pay the fee all over again? I just don't understand what could possibly be missing...

I just got this news as well, they said my application was returned and a letter of explanation is included. SO I will just need to wait and see. I have no idea what it could be, as I followed everything step by step, so organized... signed everything, thought I did everything right.. It really is disappointing.
I'm really sorry to hear about that :( now I'm going to be worried too. One really doesn't know what reason they'd come up with to return it. It would be easier if they just ask you to provide whatever they need instead of returning the whole application. My wife will call tomorrow again, although today she was told that the file looked good and most likely it wasn't going to be returned. But I don't really trust those agents from the phone line. Were you able to ask why exactly it was being returned? Or when it was sent back?

No, I put an email in asking and they responsed that based on the information given, the office returned my file with a letter of explanation. And that was it...

I am so sad for you :( I don't think you have to pay the fees again, what I'm not so sure about is if you have to pay again the $75 processing fee or what. I think you would be able to resubmit it and that's it. There is a form that asks you if you want a refund but that's if the sponsor is refused as a sponsor. The refund would be everything but the processing fee of $75. I think you don't have to pay more to resubmit it but I am not 100% sure

I think I will try to call tomorrow and see if I can get any more information...

does this mean that not all application go to the PA's visa office because i saw your visa office is sydney

Yes I think the difference for us is that my husband has been living in Ottawa, Canada with me for three years. I read somewhere that the application gets sent to either home country or where the PA has been living for at least 2 years.. can't remember where I read that, but anyways I was pleasantly surprised to being processed in Canada! I was hoping for Ottawa VO but Mississauga is just as good. Very reassuring that on the very off chance we need to get an interview that my husband won't have to fly all the way to Sydney.

Hello guys,
How long it takes for the file to be transferred to the visa office? We submitted schedule A and PCC 3 weeks ago and so far, no progress. ECAS still shows "application received" and no other updates!

Hello all,

Application sent: July 19
AOR received: August 30

The UCI (client ID number) I received with AOR is that only for the principle applicant or for both the sponsor and the principal applicant.
I (sponsor) already have a UCI#. When I am filling out my Schedule A form should I use my existing UCI or I should use the new UCI I received with AOR??

Thanks in advance! :)

The agent told me they're still working on July 11 applicants but I've noticed some applicants after me have gotten there AORs.
Just ask them to look over your file, if there is any movement on your papers...if it is pending to be returned etc. I called many times and they gave me a temp number... and a couple hours later I got my aor
