They should already have his photocopied passport and passport photos because it was part of the application. If he already has that in his application I don't think they will ask for it again. I think he's just going to receive his copr in the mail.

Oh, well that would be fantastic and ideal! Hahaha.

It seems like Ottawa is doing things 2 different ways.

More recently (last couple of months) they have been issuing the COPR straight up, and THEN sending a letter about requiring photos - although it doesn't seem like the photos are actually required (?). There was some stipulation that they couldn't use the 'digital' photos on file, so people had to send more photos in, but process has changed 'cause they don't appear to be following their own rules anymore.

Oooh, alright. Perhaps this is the reason we haven't received MyCIC account passport request yet then.

I got my PPR on 10/14, asking for my passport and 2 photos. I live in the USA, but have an Indian PP.

Any idea when can I expect my passport and COPR back? freaks me out a little in a foreign country without my PP. Also, will I be good to travel once I get my PP and COPR back?

I don't think they will ask for your passport since they don't need to stamp a visa. I think you will just get your COPR. Your COPR will be your document that "activates" your pr status at the border.

We have just received and email requesting a selective interview in Athens! (ROME VO)
So ROME is moving a bit!!

..Though we are not excited about the interview... the applicant is currently in Canada, wondering if there is any way to have the interview here?

Anybody have any information regarding this?
