Hello,

I am in the middle of gathering all the documents for Sponsorship Visa, outside Canada. I am in Canada now and will be during the process, but regarding my residential address, can I put "Same as mailing address",which is our address here in Canada, or should I put my address from my country??

And have anyone here got their PR and if so after how long?

Cheers!
Annie

Hi Annie..
For your application you put canadian address and for your spouse you have to put her address.
Depending upon your spouse's residency country the time varies.
Few of our friends in this thread has already got PR.
My spouse's status is still on In Process.
Good Luck to you.

We live together here in Canada. So you mean that in the Additional Family Information form I put the Canadian address as mailing address and my address from my home country as residential address? Or can I have "same as mailing address, which will then be our Canadian address?
Thanks!

I guess you are in wrong thread buddy.
You are probably planning to apply an inland application I assume as you are living together in Canada.
Most of us in this thread is outland applicants.

We are going to apply outland. But I will be in the country while we are applying. Thats why I asked if I should put my address from my home country instead of my Canadian address.

Hi Annie..

I am sorry buddy. I am not sure about that. May be it's better to put the address of the country you belong to if you are planning to apply for outland. May be wait for any of our friends who have applied outland applications when they are still residing in Canada. They might be able to help. Good Luck :)

Any July applicants whose application were transferred to MVO? Any updates? :)

Almost 2 months since AOR2 from Rome VO.And still no news or updates. Should i worried about something? Is that normal?
Thanks

If you live in Canada, put your address in Canada. But, if you are just in Canada as a visitor (for a short time), put your address in your country!
My sponsor and I both live in Canada and applied Outland! Since I'm student here, I put my living address in Canada.

Put the address that you are living at, if you get mail where would that be?? If CIC sent you mail to your address in your home country and you aren't there, how will you reply to them?? It doesn't matter if you are applying outland or inland.

Anyone from Vienna VO, update?

We are very confused at the moment. Does anybody know what happens after application is approved?
My husband is coming from the USA but the CIC we just called said that he will still get a passport request.

My husbands lease on his apartment is coming up in about 3.5 weeks and he will have to sign a new one, which we are trying to avoid if possible. Anyone can provide some info?

Can't he stay with a friend or family member for a few weeks instead of signing a new lease?

Unfortunately he's got nobody nearby for him to stay with.

And you need to keep his address for correspondence? Otherwise, he could just come and visit you as a visitor.
