Where do you see the decision made.. ecas or my cic website..
ecas might be showing decision made on the sponsor's side.
But it might be good news too....

Decision made in ecas. CIC shows today that Background Check 'In process'. So have to wait a little longer for good news, i guess.

I ma happy your's is moving a bit.. So our application's turn might come soon.. We are almost same time line...

I am the PA. My husband is the sponsor. My application was received on July 26, 2016. Below is the status that I can see.

Review of medical results Passed

Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started

We did not receive any email after sponsor approval. Although it's showing as Decision Made. Im a little confused.

Never mind. Just figured it out that yours is either Ottawa or some visa office in States. Definitely not New Delhi (NDVO). NDVO is sluggish these days. We have very similar timeline and my wife's application has been sent to NDVO. No update after SA yet. Congrats anyway.

I dont know what my Visa office is. I live in USA, and my application was sent to Mississauga. I guess it would be LA, USA. But my husband didn't receive any SA, so not sure about VO.

She already got SA long ago and her background check went into progress recently. This DM is for her i.e PA side. She is about to get PPR. Congratulations sohini.

The decision made was for my sponsor. Not for me. Although my background check did start today. I wish all of us get the COPR asap.

Keep in mind this is out of date and is not specific to the family stream, but it does give you some idea of what the checks entail. The order in which they do it seems to be different for family. If you look at people who got notes back where background/security was not redacted, there are a few major 'databases' of information they check.

Application received on 22nd July, 2016. AOR-1 on August 13th, 2016. SA and AOR-2 on 30th August, 2016. Application started processing at NDVO on 7th September, 2016. My timeline is also there on the left as my status.

Hi all! How are you guys doin? I need your insight. I don't know if I should be worried. My ECAS status still stuck in the 2nd line which is "We started processing your application..." I am the applicant by the way. In mycic, my medical status is still in progress. Most July applicants I know got medical passed already in their status.
Should I email the VO already? Anyone got the same status as mine? I did an upfront medical last July 5. Any know if this is normal?
