Under "What are you paying a fee for?" Choose the entry below the in-Canada class. It is the outside entry, just the text is a bit too long. From the HTML source code, the full description of this item is:
"Spouse or common-law partner, dependent children (including adopted children) and other family member outside Canada class"

Yes, I did my ex-husband and my skilled visa application for Australia. That was a piece of cake compared to this, though. He was an engineer, so on the occupations in demand list. That visa was pretty much a given.

Where are you guys moving to? I'm from Southern Ontario but we're looking at the BC interior. There's a business I'm interested in buying just outside Kamloops.

The BC Interior is very nice, although it depends where you go though, lol. And you could get a lot of snow or not much at all. My parents live in a small community just East of Kamloops and they have beautiful summers and mild winters.

My partner is a diesel mechanic with 28 years of mining experience. We're going where he's likely to find work. He wanted to go to the Elk Valley but I said we could compromise on Kamloops if he can get in at Teck.

Hi there I am a July applicant that submitted my application last June but they sent it back to me because we did not include 1 dependent (My wife's previous son). Now (July 26, 2016) we just submitted our application and was received to CIC but still waiting for the tracking record of them that they will be processed. May I ask how long will CIC start processing our application so we can check the status of our application? My wife which is my principal applicant has not yet done the medical exam we are waiting for them to contact us. BTW, my wife is a US Citizen so visa will not require for her.

The current average for receiving your first e-mail from them is 18 days.

Hi. Thank you for your quick reply. We need your suggesstions. We are not sure if she will take the medical exam because there is no panel physician in her province (New Orleans, Slidell) plus, she is pregnant and our baby will be deliver anytime soon. She will come to Canada for 3 months in December and we will do her medical exam here in Canada. Do you think that our plan is a good idea or fast way to get approve?

I'm sure with all that experience he shouldn't have a problem finding a job. I'm sure Elk Valley is beautiful but Kamloops is only 4 hours to Vancouver, 2 hours to Kelowna. I personally don't care for the desert look, I live in the desert (Egypt) and I can't wait to go back to beautiful green lush trees/grass & mountains. Good Luck!!!

Please anyone give advise....

Hello everyone...I badly need help here :-[ :-[
I am a Permanent Resident and got married January of this year, my papers and my husband's documents are all ready but I am a little bit confused on how much do I really have to pay. My husband is in Philippines right now, so it's an OUTLAND Sponsorship. He is the only one I am applying for to come here, we don't have any child. I was expecting to pay only 1100 Canadian dollar but then I am wondering if the fee "Right of Permanent Residency Fee" needs to be included. If I am going to sum all it will be less than 1600. Please share your experience whoever as the same situation or case like mine.
Appreciate it a lot. Thank you guys

my husband is in Canada and I'm here in the Philippines, he said he paid around $500, he can't remember the exact amount though :D
maybe those are for the sponsor fee and applicant fee only ;D
we got married last January also and sent our application around second week of July,
good luck to us! ;)

Application was received on the 11th of July, and yesterday I received the AOR1! Excited that it's actually being looked at now!
