Well damn, lol. Yeah we did everything upfront including all the payments. Woohoo.Omegabyte said:This summer they have been that fast. If you've submitted a good application without red flags, and submitted the FBI report and medical with your app, it seems to be going very quickly. Quickest I've seen was 1 month after AOR2. They weren't on MyCIC, so when they saw DM on ECAS, they almost panicked. 10 days later they received the CoPR.
Others have been in the 2-3 month range.
Good luck!!

I'm indian citizen and holding work permit in australia. So, my file is going to indian VO or AUS VO??Omegabyte said:I'm not sure how long it takes for Australia PR. Right now, US Outland PR is taking anywhere from a month to 6 months after it gets to Ottawa (VO for US Outland apps).
You might want to look and see if there's a forum post for your visa office.
Good luck!
Hi Omegabyte , the processing times that you mentioned, are they for Inland or Outland? Also which VO do you have. ThanksOmegabyte said:This summer they have been that fast. Is there a list of "Red Flags" somewhere? Someone told me that my application is fine because we are the same age, lived in the same country, met here, married here etc. But, how does one know if they have an application with red flags? Someone also told me that if one of us was divorced this can cause a red flag too. Is this true?Omegabyte said:If you've submitted a good application without red flags,...
Probably Sydney. We live in Australia as well and our application went to Sydney. Hopefully it won't be as long as the 10 months quoted on the CIC websitepreet_5771 said:I'm indian citizen and holding work permit in australia. So, my file is going to indian VO or AUS VO??

I'm Canadian but lived in Australia for 10 years. My partner is from England but has lived here for 30 years! We're currently living just north of Perth in a lovely coastal suburb. We are hoping to move to the BC interior to a small mountain village where I can open a small cafe/bakery and make cakes from home. I've been working in the medical field for 30+ years so looking forward to doing something different.preet_5771 said:Where are you from??
And where do you live in aus?
Have u got any email saying your file is transferred to sydney?

I got an email saying my sponsorship application was approved and that our file for his permanent residence had been transferred to Sydney for processing.
Where are you living?
Answering my own question and maybe helping others:LanaLanski said:Is there a list of "Red Flags" somewhere?
