We received our COPR, this issue date was July 7, 2017 and it is valid until April 26, 2018. The medical was done in July of 2016. I'm not sure what this timeline is based on, I was also assuming it would be a year, but not so.

Finally!!! We received the COPR on August 15, 2017. Took about 1 year as the website predicted for US outland applicants. Took 5 weeks from the time I noticed the Decision Made. Our VO was Ottawa.
