I have the same enquiry too. Is that updated on ecas or confirmed over the phone or email?

My ecas under sponsorship written as following:

1) We received your application to sponsor (XXXXX) on July 8, 2015.
2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your
application(s) on August 8, 2015.
3) We started processing your application on August 7, 2015.
4) We sent you correspondence on September 3, 2015 about the decision
on your application.

Have not received any email or mail by post. Tried to contact CIC number couple of times. CIC reps did not get my UCI number even, started giving me excuses that I have to wait two more weeks and then call. Any suggestion guys?

That's what I assumed as well. I called CIC today since I passed my 60 days, they said "we still cannot tell you anything since the website says we are working on July 3rd applications and you are July 6th applicant."

CIC started this new process where the NDVO now says directly In Process instead of AR.. I know by reading other threads, other people have gotten the same.. so dont know if its actually In process or just new way of saying we received your application

Same with me I called they said we received your file on July 8 you have to wait till you see it online and IP status means we opened your application and checked it but did not actually start processing it yet !

This morning I called to enquire about our application status. I was asked when it was submitted. Whether I'd gotten any response. When I said I had AOR email August 11 acknowledging app recieved July 13 he said I'd have to wait because they were still working on apps from July 6th.
Later I checked ecas. Today my husband the primary applicant was added to ecas as a dependant along with his child who was listed there for a while already. Hmmm. This worried me!!! I called again since I was concerned they were processing the app wrong. This 2nd agent was super! He sent me a case enquiry link via email to ask for technical adjustment. Then he said BTW has you been informed of the decision?
I said no. I could not breath. I made no mention of earlier call. He said "you were approved 2 days ago and files in transit to VO. Congratulations! I wish you all the best on phase 2 of your application. He made my day. I was speechless and crying instantly. I went from thinking something was wrong to learning all was super!!!
SA APPROVED!!!!
It really depends who you talk to. I keep praying for a good officer at the VO.
I hope you all hear good news soon! What a relief

I was having same challenge.
It was not until I questioned ecas notes which were not right and suggested there was a problem that they took app #
I did not get a name.
I'm certain you will hear something soon!

If under the Permanent Residence Application Status it says "Application Recieved" and if I click on that this comes up..."We received ***************'s application for permanent residence on July 10, 2015."...what does this mean??

If I don't get a letter in the mail on Monday then I think will call....exasperated

We have this under applicant also. I did not get a letter. It just means Mississauga acknowledges applicant application.
You were probably approved in last 2-3 days and file is in transit.
I hear Vienna VO is slow to update ecas and in some cases does not share AOR for phase 2.
I only found out about my SA because I reported and error on ecas update. They listed my husband as a dependant so they needed to ask for our app# and then entered the files and told me about SA.
Did you share email address for correspondence?
This is the way to go. Most communication goes quickly this way.
Post is never reliable. Trust me I know.
My husband went to detention in Canada last year when an incorrect address was used to mail a notice to appear for interview.
I had to post bond and jump through hoops to get him out and avoid deportation.
Nightmare.
