CIC just updated their page about the Assessment of Sponsor, they are working on application received on July 13th and update date shows as of Sept 1st.

Thanks for sharing this info. We're waiting for SA, it's so stressful!! Hopefully we'll hear something soon

It gives me extreme happiness to share I also received my SA for my wife yesterday. I had sent my application dated July 16, 2015. Now, the second step begins!

Could someone please share the telephone number where to call when you are OUTSIDE of Canada!!?? I tried the 1-888etc number and an automated voice comes that the call cannot be completed and I can't find any # in the cic-website.

I phoned CIC they confirmed SA was issued on Sept 9 and file received by VO on Sept 16

If I'm not misaken, the only number available out Canada is from USA.

I have been literally searching the cic website for half an hour now...can not find anything other than when outisde of canada I would have to contact my VO. I sent Vienna an email about my change of address as of October along with an inquiry about my SA and not having recieved any information yet and got a VERY prompt reply stating that any info will be sent from CPC Mississauga. Yes....I KNOW! lol

Wondering if I could get my father in Canada to call, he could use my UCI#...but then again they probably wouldn't give him any info.

Try calling the 1-888 from skype using Canada as your home country on it. This usually works for me and is free to call.

Anyone got their ECAS updated to show SA has been approved? I received my SA on Sept 14, but no email, letter or ECAS update yet.
