JULY 2015 OUTLAND APPLICANTS

So I forced myself not to look at anything to do with cic for almost 2 weeks...and poof...our status has been changed to In Process!
Yippeee!!...I think! Have not recieved an email with AOR..nothing except In Process after I log in with my reciept number on cic website. Is this normal?!

I assume you mean In Process under Sponsor Application and not Permanent Resident Application? Regardless, I only received email twice (despite having In Process under both Sponsor Application and Permanent Resident Application. The first was an acknowledgement of receipt of our application and the second was my approval as sponsor. I have not received an email regarding the receipt of our application in the overseas VO nor about the application being processed. Hopefully this helps.

Canada Post delivered mine July 27, no AOR. From the spreadsheet the average wait lately is around 40 days.

Thanks for the reply. From looking at the 2015 Outland spreadsheet everyone above me (except 2) has AOR, that's why I thought I'd ask here. I guess I should be more patient :

CIC says they are processing applications received Jun 26....

so unlikely any July applicants will have SA....hoping they start coming in the next two weeks though!!

So you have recieved an email with the acknowledgement of reciept for the app-how long after it was submitted did you recieve it if I may ask? and did this mail include your ID # then? I assume that since the In Process (SA) is noted when I enter our reciept number that its..well...in process! Just find it odd that we haven't recieved any thing via email that gives us an ID#.

I should have clarified...under Sponsor it says "Decision Made".

The email acknowledging receipt of application to CPC Missisauga was sent to me on July 10, 2015 and yes, it included my UCI number (sponsor) but not the applicant's UCI number. (They had actually received it on Jun 3, 2015 according to ECAS)

I had called CIC on Aug 5 and found out SA. I then received the SA approval letter via email on Aug 6 although on ECAS it said correspondence about DM was sent Jul 30.

Not yet! CIC received our application on July 27th, we got AOR on August 26th, eCAS says they started processing our application for SA on August 25th.

We're not really expecting to hear anything until around September 26th.
