did it take 30 days to get the notes?

33 days for us, but we requested on a Friday and they don't show creating the notes until the next Monday.

Hey all want to get your opinions on this...sent my wife's application in July and got SA end of August...application went into processing end of September no updates since. Medical was done before hand and submitted with application. Shouldn't we have seen medical received by now in ecas? Should I call CiC call centre?

Just wanted to provide an update......after calling CIC and emailing Ottawa last week upon checking ecas this morning the magical "Medical results have been received." has been added!!!!

That's exactly what happened with our application.
Last week, new row in ecas: "Medical results have been received".
Hope that mean we are in business...

1.We received your application for permanent residence on July 13, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on September 14, 2015.
3.We sent you medical instructions on September 18, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4.Medical results have been received. (this line was updated 1st or 2nd week of Dec2015)

-the medical exam was done in Oct2015 everything except the x-ray because she was pregnant which we notified CIC
-my wife did the x-ray 1st week of Dec2015 and was submitted to CIC via e-medical

the app is being process out of the visa office in HK, so my questions are:

Is my wife an July applicant or an Dec applicant?

Is it 18 months from the time they received our app? or from the time they received the medical?

A few points:
(1) The CIC website now shows 17 months, not 18.
(2) This is an estimated processing time. Most applications are processed much faster. Many in this thread are near the end of the process already.
