DM Decision Made. When CIC notifies you/updates ECAS to say they have reached a decision on your application.
PPR = Passport Request, this is basically the same as DM because they want your passport (physical or scans of it) to issue your COPR.

Some visa offices ask for PPR before updating ECAS to DM, and some do both at the same time.

Just got PPR, it took a bit over 2 weeks from Decision Made. Will send everything off tomorrow.

What is different between Mississauga and Ottawa office? Excluding obvious location, I just mean for applications, what is different?
I haven't heard a thing about ours since SA August 28th.

I think from what I've noticed it's become kind of an overflow spot for VO's that have a lot of backlog and they've been taking on simple applications to lessen the load a bit. So it's been really fast for people to get their COPR from there.

Edit: Also I think we should probably be hearing something soon. Someone in June being processed in Ottawa got DM the other day.

I justtttt saw that person from June.
They had 18 weeks between SA and DM so I figure that would leave my hubby and I at around end of December, early January.

Thank you for explaining that, I was confused since it wasn't really an option for us to chose that office, hopefully something soon. Not hearing ANYTHING for so long is driving me crazy!
