Yes when I received my SA for my wife, I was given my file number as well as my UIC number.
You might want to try and call CIC and see if they can give you your UIC number or at the very least your file number.

Thank you. I will try and call in the morning. I find that's the only time I can get in.

If you call Cic they will be able to provide you with the UCI for the applicant as well as the Application Number.

I think we may have been forgotten about, our application was recieved on 16th July 2014, Sponsorshop Approved on 16th September

It's now November 26th and still not even "in process" just "medicals recieved"

Should i call them?

It has only been 2 months and a week or so. Check the average processing times on the London spreadsheet. You are still well within that timeline.

London is taking around about 7-8 months to process applications at the moment, so you still have a while to wait yet. The spreadsheet has a bunch of people who applied Jan-Mar that haven't received their PR yet.

Yes but Ottawa timeline also says around 16 months and most people are hearing back already in 5-8 months... So it is really hard to tell. I personally have no idea when we will hear something. But we are in the same boat, application received, meds received and that is it. Not "in processing" nothing.... I've seen some applications go straight to decision made and others go to in processing... So my husband and I feel totally lost at this point anyway.

At this point I'd be happy to see any sort of movement in anything. An in process would make me really happy right now. Then at least I know that they've seen it and are working on it. Even if it sits as 'in process' for like a month before there's a decision made.

I'm like.. starting to crawl out of my skin at this point waiting for something.

My application is being processed in Misissauga does it take the same time as the London VO?

It is generally faster than the London visa office but no one knows if they will keep to their quick timeline.

At the time of applying you were aware of how long London takes and your application should have went to London. It is only because of London's backlog that your application stayed in Mississauga.

I totally feel the same way! My skin is crawling wanting some sort of answer! I just want to hear somethinggggg!

Is there anyone here under spousal sponsorship that their applicant undergo for upfront medical? How long will the embassy received the result? Thanks.

It should've been like a day or 2 after SA. But it takes a few days for it to get posted on ECAS :)

We did upfront medical, once I could log on to ECAS a few days after I got SA it showed medicals received.

e

We did the medical upfront and submitted with our initial application. We had not received any word about the medical so we emailed the VO and they requested the information again and within a few days it was on Ecas. Not sure what would have happened had we not asked....
