I was told the 14 month timeline is based from when my file was transferred to Ottowa - so even tho I filed 20 June 2014 ... They have based the 14 months from 29aug 2014. So - by rights I should be seeing something anytime now. If that's true - the December date would be right. Having said that - I don't believe a word they say anymore.

Yes I said I would try ring them on the 14 months from Received date. He said that I Cant look into your file until
14 months from AOR has reached which will be the 15th of December. He just said Everything looks good and that it should be processed by
the mid December date and if not to ring them back.......I think everyone is getting the same response.... I also seen today that
the processing time will be increased from the current 14 months to 20 months. Hopefully the july applicants are only a month or two off the end. I personally know a may applicant that got his about a month ago and a june applicant that got decision made about 10 days ago.

I am a June applicant and there are still over 40 of us waiting ... And that's only people that follow these forums and post ... Probably more that don't ... And there are over 30 in the May list still waiting ...
So frustrating

Who knows?.... Only one person has said that - and they were 'told' by their MP's office that enquired on their behalf. Hope to god it isn't true ... Also I would assume more of us would have been told that if its true?!

The support people at call center know very little. Over the multiple calls they've told me
- the processing time is now 15 months, while it clearly stated on the website it's 14. it was supposed to be "updated any day" and that didn't happen
- the processing time counts from the date of AOR (it clearly stated on the website it's date received)
- the processing time counts from the date of file transfer (utter bullshit)

conveniently every time I've been given this incorrect information it saved the person I was talking to the hassle of actually doing their work and checking my file

I wouldn't be surprised if the very same people responded to emails and queries from MPs, so I'd take anything they say with a grain of salt.

Agreed! These responses may be just to fend off further inquiries. And yes it is quite possible that MP's corresponds to these people not the VO directly.

Best Regards,
