I called CIC and they confirmed that my RCMP certificate is in file. But still they want an updated current one, so they ask me to get a new one again.

I've sent my latest RCMP certificate to CIC yesterday. Also, paid RPRF in September upon request.

What is the next step if I am from Visa exempted country?

I finally saw an update to my ecas when I logged in this morning. The "Medical results have been received" line was added, so I guess that's a good sign since I had done the exams for myself and my partner on August 19th, a few days before I got the actual MR.

When I called them I asked if all the other steps, Eligibility, Criminality, Security, etc had been completed and the agent said yes. I am still not sure how long the wait will be but at least I am starting to see light at the end of this immense dark tunnel that is the old CEC application process, so hopefully within the next couple of days/weeks I should get something.

It was done electronically, the physician's office submitted the results for me, I didn't have to do anything.

If yours is not eMedical, your best bet is to probably send an email to CIC Ottawa with the UMI number.

congrats to those applications that are moving...just have a question those who requested for GCms notes did you pay $5 for every request coz i didn't pay mine when i requested one and i was wondering it has something to do with me not receiving a reply yet, but i did received a confirmation email though... do i have to request a new one and pay for it or what??? please help!

yes you would have to request for them again.. normally when you submit the form online it asks you to put your billing details and should deduct the $5 from your credit card when you submit the form.

Hi there I m October applicant. I did my upfront medical in June 2016 and I got the same line too, before couple of days!
I paid my RPRF upfront too. Did you get any status change for RPRF??

Hi veaunz,

If you are requesting for notes from within Canada then you shall not be paying anything. You would request the case management electronic files under privacy act which is provided free of cost.

However if you are requesting it from outside Canada the you would need to pay a fee of CAD 5.00

I had received two electronic notes files till now no charges incurred. Third one requested few days back.

Please note that ATIP link which lets us raise a request for GCMS files recently added a declaration at the end of the form stating that due to overwhelming number of requests the notes may not be exactly delivered on time.

Best Regards,

Is upfront RPRF ever updated on ecas ?

No. The RPRF payment does not reflect on you ECAS.
