implied status means that you can continue with your current status as long as you've applied for a new one.

So if you were on a work permit and you applied for a new one before it got expired and your waiting for a decision on that you can continue to work. or if you have a temp resident permit which expired and you applied for a new one and are still waiting to hear from them you can legally stay in the country and this waiting time is called implied status.

about the file being under review i think the only way to find that out is through the GCSM notes which you need to apply for to get an update on your current pr application. the notes would say if its under first review or second.
Thanks ushiee88

So I can make GCMS request directly since I am in Canada right?

It says "To send a request you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently in Canada"

Thank you.

hi guys i got my GCMS notes after sending them a follow-up email. questions: how will you know if you are on second review?? i don't understand why my eligibility assessment 1 type:CEC eligibility says recommend passed but there is eligibility assessment 2 TYPE: ministerial Instructions not started what does that mean??? my criminality is still in progress and security is not started yet so I'm guessing i still have to wait forever, my file was last updated since MAY and after that seems that nobody is touching my file, medical passed since May.RCMP says no reportable trace. please does someone has the same gcms notes currently or in the past please tell me what does this means…thanks in advance for your help and info.

GCMS - Employment Verification

Please help

How do you confirm that employment verification has been completed? I am trying to see in my GCMS, if my work experience has been verified.

Under Assciation -> Organization & Entities, all my past and current companies are listed except my very first company which is NOC 2174 (1+ Years experience). Remaining companies including my current are all NOC 2172 (2+ Years Experience) which are listed.

I would like to know which field specifies that my past and current employment has been verified successfully?

Thanks,

I got my GC notes today. It states that :

Eligibility : Passed
Security : Not Started
HIRV :
Criminality : In Progress
Org Crime:
Medical : Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

Not sure why its pending for Security and Criminality. There has been no update since last three months on my file.
RPRF was already requested and paid three months ago. They are just not asking for PPR. :(
And It Sucks.

RPRF is always set to outstanding from the beginning. It just means you have not paid the fee. If you have not been requested to pay, then it is not time for you to pay.
