Hi,

Spouse and myself did Medical in Mar 19, but the same is not yet updated in status. It still displays only the first line as "apllication received on July 09" .

Is it because am yet to complete the Medical for my 1yr old Son ( having issues with this Passport, hence the delay),or is it something i need to worry about.

Am applying from India, and the medical was done from India.

Any thoughts / advice on the above is highly appreciated,

Yes it is because of incomplete family medicals. Once all of the family members medical will be completed you will see the medical results received in Ecas. Having said that, ECAS is not always updated in time.

My app. was received on Aug 1, 2014.
I still have not received any medical request. Please advise if we get an email for the medical request/change in account information on CIC?
My account status still shows "in process" with info about "app. recieved on aug 1st" only. Do you think there may be something wrong with my documents/any additional info may be required?

You will get your medical request in your email that you provided to CIC

I think I have done overpayment for RPRF
I have paid for my child as well and I understand / read that RPRF is not required for child

Should I go ahead and submit the receipt and then later ask for fee return for overpayment after all processing done ?

Please suggest

I did not get any RPRF request yet. I heard from my friends and this forum that once they received medical results, they usually issue RPRF right away or in couple of days. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I asked my lawyer to pay RPRF upfront and he said strictly not to pay RPRF upfront. I cant go against his action. I dont know what should I do at this stage.

Is it normal or I should call CIC. I am in Toronto. Your feedback will be really helpful.

You wont get RPRF right away it takes time and varies from case to case. Most of the June applicants did there medicals in December / January and still waiting for RPRF. You can pay upfront there is no harm in it. It might save you 3-4 days.

Any one who got MR request today.. ?

Last whole week they just worked on 28th July file and only few of 29 July..

They are working very slow.. Dont know what they do whole day and issued MR in night 11:00PM.

If any one received MR please update.

One person wrote in August 2014 thread that s/he got an MR today. Not sure what the timeline of the application or any other details though.

VOs are busy with FSW applications. They are getting PP request in less than six months. Frustrating for CEC applicants. Still waiting and waiting.

Medicals were done on April 7 and on April 14 ECAS updated with medical results received.

Unless one gets a call from the examining doctor's office saying there was something amiss with the results of the exam/lab work/x-rays, can one assume that he or she 'passed' the medical exam? This question has probably been asked an answered several times, so apologies.

Is your online status shows 'Medical results received'? If yes then your medicals are accepted that means passed. Don't think more about it. You are doing good.

It's a nerve wracking process, to be sure!

Hi ,

I submitted my file on July 31st.
I got my file number on 20th October.
I got the new document request from CIC for the form IMM 5669.
They told me in the e mail that they want the clear information on my travel history as I had visited the United states twice after putting the P.R. File.

Does any one know how much time it will take them ?>
