Can we pay upfront RPRF without receiving any e-mail about RPRF ?

For me Medicals Received as per E-CAS status. I am thinking about can i pay RPRF fees upfront with out being asked by CIC.

Please let me know your suggestions on this.

I live in North and don't have any PP around here, the closest ones are in Edmonton, which is a 18 hours drive. I was in Calgary a couple of weeks ago and went for upfront medicals on March 30, 2015. Yesterday, I contacted the PP to ensure if everything is fine. PP said that CIC requested another X-Ray plus some other tests and I need to see the doctor again. Should I go see the same PP or request CIC to arrange one locally? Thoughts? Similar Experiences?

Thanks for the reply, astasi. I read that and also contacted CIC yesterday. They said that I should not have gone for upfront medicals in first place as it is not recommended for PR/CEC applicants.

Anyways, the solution they provided me is to find a doctor locally, provide doctor's contact information to CIC, and they will see if the doctor can be authorized to do medicals.

I'm not sure how long this whole process will take and what will be the effects on my application. No updates on ECAS.

I paid the RPRF Online using credit card and have PDF receipt with me
Do i need to print it and write my details like Name , client Id and Address and then Scan again as PDF and then send it to CIC Email address
OR
the blank receipt ( As is what i have received after Payment ) is okay to send it to CIC

Please help

Hi,

Spouse and myself did Medical in Mar 19, but the same is not yet updated in status. It still displays only the first line as "apllication received on July 09" .

Is it because am yet to complete the Medical for my 1yr old Son ( having issues with this Passport, hence the delay),or is it something i need to worry about.

Am applying from India, and the medical was done from India.

Any thoughts / advice on the above is highly appreciated,
