Even the August & September applicants are getting decision made & passport request & I am 14th July applicant still waiting for an answer.
This wait is just killing me every day !!

Most of the June applicants like me are still waiting for passport or Medical request...........our situation is more worst than July, august , September & Oct 2014 applicants

Can anybody please post the number we can call to contact cec, couldnt find it on website. And also How and what should I ask that does freak them out. This is my first time contacting them since i applied on 7 of aug last year.
I am posting here beacuse Aug thread is not working for me, may be I am already past the maximum number of times i could check it

Then you press 1 or 2 (for French or English).
Then: 1 then 1 then 3 then 1. I did that yesterday and was able to speak to someone after 20min of wait!

Thanks for the help marmaht! i been on phone for half hour to hear evrything looks fine if anything was needed cec will contact me. Dont think they have any plans to process our applications for while!!

I never even get to the agent... Is there a time frame we should be calling-in at ?

Best results are usually in the morning between 8/9

I called them just to ask if CIC needed my old Notice of Assessments (to prove that I paid taxes in 2012, 2013 and 2014) or if I should wait to get the new ones.

For the story: they asked for it on June 29th to be sent in 60 days, but I had to sue my former boss who considered me as self-employed instead of employed, which made me ineligible for CEC. So I needed to start some procedures to be recognized as employed and get my T4 (got them on time) but I am still waiting for my NoA (had to call my MP AND fill a complain against CRA). I was told this morning that they are on their way: YAY!!!

But when I called CIC yesterday the lady was awfully rude, didn't even let me ask my question, just told me to send an email to the person who's in charge of my application (as if I had his/her contact information...). I'm an October applicant so it's too early for me to ask for any update!

does anyone know if cic requires police certificate from home country if i've been living in canada for the past 8 years.. ? just went back home in the middle for about 7-8 months. but all they asked for in the mail was the rcmp certificate.

I had to provide a police very from home country - have been here 7 years.
Wasn't asked / haven't been asked for RCMP one??

did they specifically ask you or you sent it on your own. as they just emailed me to ask for the rcmp one.

I sent it myself when I did the application ... I used a lawyer/representative and they asked for it as part of the package. I would imagine if they haven't asked for it by now - it's not needed?
