Guys I have a question.. I was requested for and paid RPRF around 3 weeks back and now waiting PPR.. my spouse is in Pakistan and can send her passport to US.. can i ask someone to courier the passport from US to Canada? Is it allowed?.. As far as I know we cannot courier passport from Pakistan but can it be done from US?.. i just don't wanna request for visa office change as it will delay my landing and I will not get my PR card in time as I plan to travel back home mid of Dec

Additionally, for applicants who requested change of visa stamping office for spouse.. did u wait for CIC email for confirmation or sent your passports already to CIC while waiting for response for spousal passport status.

Is anyone able to speak to CIC call center agent recently? If yes, is there any particular navigation that we can follow on the IVR to reach the agent? All I am getting off late is 'Can't forward your call as we are busy'.

I am also trying to call since Monday, but it's not connecting.

Guess, there are two situations where they can do like this:
- All resources are diverted to finish the piled up applications hence not entertaining any customer interactions OR
- Our files are not really moving or completely stopped working on them, hence no updates to share with us.

I got the medical request today. It was in the second review.
My timeline:
File sent: July 28, 2014
AOR: Oct 10, 2014
MR: Oct 01, 2015

Just keep your hopes up...Everyone should got what they deserve.

Landed at Sarnia Bluewater Bridge on Aug 12, 2015.
Received PR cards yesterday Oct 01, 2015.
My card was sent to my lawyer's address (mailing address on ecas) and my wife's card sent to my residential address. Feeling Happy

Received RCMP request yesterday. They already requested this in Jan 2015 and I submitted the same in Feb 2015.

Not sure its missing in my file or they want to have a latest RCMP record? Any body had the same situation?

I just received MR yesterday. I did the exam in the beginning of August and looks like they have not received (updated) it.

I just called CIC today (yes, I was able to call them on the second try) and the agent confirmed that they have not yet received (updated) the exam results.

I went ahead and send them an email saying that I already took the exam on August, and attached them the scanned version of the receipt with the UMI.

Do you guys think that is enough/safe to do?

I am a June 2014 CEC applicant , I also faced similar situation. got RCMP request second time in August even after sending it Feb 2015 ,
then I wrote a mail to CIC with details of scanned copy of RCMP certificate & Feb's submission.
after that I got a mail confirming from CIC ,Yes they already have RCMP in file.

also as per my latest GCMS notes incoming section clearly mention that RCMP is already received.

Do not worry, just write mail to CIC with details & wait for their response or CIC Call customer care

i have been asked for RCMP in Jan 29th. I replied the RCMp is already in the file when i submitted. CIC responded they have found my RCMP in the file. I got the same request on Aug 5 but this time it was saying my RCMP certificate which was in the file has expired so send a new one. i got the new one and sent. still waiting for my PPR.

Apparently, I got RPRF request today, just after I posted my timeline here.

I am not sure if this request was because I called + emailed them earlier today, or just coincidence.

I am going to pay it after this and then be waiting again.
