This is so frustrating. Of course they are working on Express Entries and not on CEC files. One day they might say that all the files applied before 2015 would be returned and the fee would be refunded. This has happened before. They don't care.

please provide some source for this info.

this type of info is misleading and the situation we are currently in, this is totally disheartening. please refrain from making such statements unless you have some solid proof or cic website has it posted.

When has this happened before (after sending out the AOR)?

What would make more sense is for them to transfer our files to the EE system somehow.

Hello All,
I have landed on July 9, 2015 at Rainbow Bridge. I am in USA now. The address in CoPR is wrong. I have updated it online (ECAS) last week but I can see the old address (wrong address). Now, the processing time to get the card is 68 days, that means today is 70th day from the date of landing. Will the send the card to the new address or old address. what should I do now. waiting for ur suggestions. please reply.

Give CIC call center a call, they will give you your answer.
I landed on July 15th at Toronto Pearson Airport, I also updated my address online 2 weeks ago, but the ECAS still shows my old address. I just called CIC, they said my PR card has been mailed out this Tuesday to my new address.
So, give them a call to see what's going on. Good luck.

We received your application for permanent residence on August 1, 2014.
We started processing your application on October 28, 2014.
Medical results have been received.

I pre-paid my RPRF on July 2nd, 2015 and sent the receipts to CIC.
Please advise how I can find out what to do next and if anyone else is in the same boat as me waiting for passport request/completion of processing?

When did you done your medicals ? Or is it upfront or was Medical Request from CIC ? also when it is reflected in your ECAS ?

Hi,

I got my medical request from CIC in April 2015 and I did them end of April.
It got updated in CIC website within 2 weeks (early May).

I called CIC today morning and my pr card is sent at old address last week. they told me I have to wait till October, 22.

You may want to contact Canada Post and check if you can still redirect the delivery of your pr card to the new address.

LMO work permit getting expired next month on 26th & no update after medical done on 26th March.
So applied BOWP & gcms notes today. Also paid rprf upfront today.

Yes I applied today, but not sure I will get it or not.
I heard people with lmo don't get bowp

thats not true.. as long as u hvae a valid work permit and AOR, you are eligible.. there is no classification of LMIA/LMO approved WPs cannot get BOWP

I mean my work permit that is getting expired on 26th Oct is bonded work permit which I received based on LMO.
Now my PR application is in process, am I still eligible for BOWP ?
