thats not true.. as long as u hvae a valid work permit and AOR, you are eligible.. there is no classification of LMIA/LMO approved WPs cannot get BOWP

Yes my valid work permit is getting expired on 26th Oct & my PR application is in process.
This work permit I received in 2013 based on positive LMO.
Someone told me only people people with open work permit can apply for bowp, and people whose permits are bonded they have to again get LMO approved to get BOWP.
So what's true here ?
Please advise.

One of my friends' sister applied for PR from India some time before, a few years later they decided to return all the files and refund the fees of every applicant applied before a decided date as they had lots of pending files, and so they did. I'm sorry, I have no other details at present. But I know this has happened before.

Okay, I can see a lot of people are worried now about the thing I just mentioned in one of my previous posts. But guys let's stay positive. It has happened around 4-5 years ago and the files were not under CEC program. Those were based on point system, academic qualifications and work experience in their home countries. Cheer up guys. There's nothing to worry about CEC. CEC is safe.

well it was under FSW program and even for Business, but in that particular year, they have returned all the files in that year, but this is not the case this year, however they have processed many files till july and august and even few applicants from Oct(French) so , I don't think so it is something we need to worry about.
