Has your demand draft been cashed? You should ask your bank about it.. if it has been cashed then you might be receiving PER soon... I am July 7th applicant and anxiously waiting for some response from CIC...

I noted from SS that there are 4 applications received by CIO on 24,28,29 July were rejected. I wonder how these guys know this information?

If that were true it means that those applications had been reviewed and sent back by snail mail. Some of those applicants are three weeks behind me and my app hadn't been charged nor returned yet.
That is where confusion comes from...........
It must be something else.
Someone in this forum guessed that those people sent mail to CIC asking about their status. This doesn't make sense to me, either, because it means that CIC officers had to search through applications that were not yet in line to be screened.
I have no idea, but it buggs me too................
